That time of year is upon us again friends! It’s time for the biggest auto industry show in the world…SEMA!
This is stacking up to be my busiest year at SEMA yet and I can’t wait to meet lots of new people there and show off two of my cars, which is a dream come true!
My friends at Magnaflow helped me so much this year on the maiden voyage of my 1949 Chevy Step Van on the Hot Rod Power Tour, and now they can’t shake me! My ’49 will be there in all its aluminum glory, loaded with all the goodies that I picked up at Summit Racing. I can’t say enough how awesome everyone at Summit was in this build. It’s hard to build something this custom as it turns out, and every time I picked up the phone to order parts, I was talking to someone that knew and loved cars just like I did and that meant the world to me. You’ll know this beast when you see it for sure. Think 40’s Bread Truck meets modern family hot rod meets American Pickers. There’s a good chance you’ll hear it before you see it since it’s got an insane Magnaflow side exit exhaust letting that Chevy Performance LS3 send out some good vibes to the masses. Custom Asanti Wheels make this thing sit pretty, and Lucra worked their aluminum magic inside to perfectly lay out the cockpit for the new Recaro seats.
I’m also bringing my newly acquired dream car! That’s right…It’s the Scion xB from the “Make your own Taxi” show of Top Gear on History. This beast has a Toyota Supra 2JZGTE sitting under the hood and it has been converted to rear wheel drive. This wagon is the real deal and I’m still in shock that it’s actually mine. It’s got a whole new look though, so don’t look for the taxi light on top. It’s now Stain Pearl White thanks to a killer 3M Graphics wrap, and it’s sitting on some beautiful PURPLE Advan TC-III rims with super sticky Hankook Ventus rubber. Magnaflow did a full custom turbo back exhaust on it that looks and sounds incredible. Recaro seats up front will have all my friends begging to ride shotgun with me!

It will also be available on the web to those who can’t make the show. There are some really crazy builds that are worth checking out, so I hope you’ll watch at home or live in person!
